It is important to us at Alaska Bead Company that you are completely satisfied with your order. If, however, you are not completely satisfied with any or all of your order, please feel free to return unsatisfactory items within 30 days of the date on your invoice for a refund, less shipping charges, to the credit card used to purchase the items. For returned items purchased with a COD Money Order (Alaska Only), we will mail you a refund check or give you an in-store credit (good for 1 year), less shipping charges—please indicate which you prefer.
Exception: Books, Videos, Special Orders, and products cut (e.g. chain, etc.) are non-returnable!
The following steps must be followed to ensure a full refund:
- Place a copy of the original invoice in the box with the items you are returning. Circle the returned item(s) on the invoice. Indicate on the invoice why you are returning the item(s) (e.g. faulty, shipped in error, don’t like).
- The item(s) must be returned unaltered in their original packaging. For example, bags must be unopened, strings must not be cut nor the beads unstrung, and labels must still be attached. We must be able to immediately resell the item(s) as is. Items not meeting this requirement will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- The item(s) must be returned in an appropriate box or padded mailer so breakage does not occur—items shipped in an envelope are usually damaged. For your own protection, we recommend that you insure your package, and for USPS shipping, include Delivery Confirmation for tracking.
The customer is responsible for the return carrier charges unless the return is due to faulty items being shipped, or items being shipped in error.
